Just a stones throw away is Nahoon beach, where safe bathing is possible, and the world renowned surfing spot of the Nahoon Reef.
A short leisurely walk up to the Nahoon river mouth reveals scenic views of the beautiful coastline worthy of a few camera shots.

For golf enthusiasts there is the East London Golf club which is rated in the top ten South African venues and also the Daimler Chrysler driving range for that ever needed practice that golfers can never get enough of.
